While a child, I witnessed madness around me, and had it coaxed out of me — as therapy.
In many cases the therapy consisted of methods that were the opposite of therapy.
In fact, a staff member confessed to me that they received paid bonuses for running propheets or workshops at the CEDU campuses. This promotion was available only to adults that had completed the therapy of propheets and workshops themselves, over years working at the place.
Informed consent in long-term placement situations is, and has been, undermined. Long-term conformity to the group leads to the more heightened moments, which have now been proudly earned.
Personal perceptions of the people and purposes in that place progress.
In Overwritten: Book 2 in the Dead, Insane or in Jail, I write:
“Dissent was a virtual impossibility since we were all now part of our webs of parent, older brother and sister, and staff messaging. The only way to escape this web was to turn eighteen, lose one’s mental faculties, or maybe die… The trap was as simple as a Chinese finger trap, and at the same time as complex as the movement of wave energy. The more we struggled to learn and succeed over weeks and months here, the more enmeshed our lives became…”
I’ve been thinking about the people that join or work at places like Landmark Education and other large-group awareness training (LGATs) entities out there.
Ontological bodies with long arms that invade personal spirituality and moralities very often have a giant-sized appetite for money.
Sudden personality change is still big business.
